Day 39

Hey! It's day 39, and this morning I took it nice and easy. I laid in bed for a while, listening to the birds outside of my window before arising and sitting out in the lawn at a picnic table. I worked on a project (which I will reveal tomorrow on my instagram) and then hung out with Alex and Jorgie. We noticed that Donna who lives across the road was putting out some free items in her driveway, and Jorgie got lots of beads. Based on that, we decided to have a craft-ernoon at Swim Beach.

Up on the rock, I made some jewelery, a friendship bracelet, and did some nature journaling. Then, I got hot so I decided to head over to Fish Beach and walk down the breakwater. From there (like the other day) I swam back to the shore (after floating on my back for ten minutes or so.

I went back to the Yew and took a shower, then took a nap. When I woke up, it was nearly time for dinner! Tonight, Mo made rice noodles with veggies fresh from the garden, including some gorgeous chard. We had chicken and tofu to choose from too, yum!

Usually when we have dinner out on the porch the sun will get in your eyes if you sit with your back to the building, but today, there was a strange phenomenon. The sun was out, but obscured through a layer of clouds and haze that left it visible but muted to a deep orange. I tried to capture it with my camera:

It turns out that this is the only photo I took today, which I find surprising! It was another restful day off, and I am ready for an exciting week ahead! (There was a party tonight, but I decided not to go, and I stayed home working on my little project).

Tune back in tomorrow!

Love, Me
